The journeyer also has the option of simply having a skipper on board with no other crew member alongside(Skippered Charter).
The cost of each charter depends on a number of intrisic factor of the yatch involved like its size,age, pedigree,type of charter chosen, number of crew and the final destination. The Luxury Yatchs are usually privately owned and are leased out by their owners to palliate the effective cost of maintainence of the yatch and to make sure the crew doesnt remain dormant for a long time. The weekly rate of charter for a single person varies from $1000 to $25000 whereas the Luxury Yatch costs around 20000 euros to 661500 euros for the same conditions.
Before chartering, however, each excursionist is required to oblige to the terms and conditions of navigation set by the government of the country in which they are setting sail.
